Boletín Semana 16

Viernes 26 de Junio

Dear Wessex Community,

It has certainly been a very wet week, and I would like to thank everyone for their support and patience as we continue to navigate the winter weather together. Please do ensure that pupils are dressed warmly each day and arrive prepared for the colder conditions.

I would also like to refer to the communication that was sent on Wednesday regarding traffic flow and safety during drop-off and pick-up times. Thank you to the many families who have already adjusted their routines. A gentle reminder that when using the gate system, we ask parents to drive carefully and, where possible, organise children so that they are ready to exit the vehicle independently. This helps keep the operation moving smoothly and safely for everyone, whilst avoiding the need for parents to leave their vehicles unnecessarily.

This week, our Senior 6 pupils benefited from their work experience placements. We hope this proved to be both an enriching and reflective opportunity, allowing pupils to gain valuable insight into different professions, develop their independence and consider future pathways with greater confidence.

We have also been delighted to see so many pupils participating in the school flag competition. There have been some wonderfully creative submissions, and we are looking forward to identifying the final winning design, which will be announced very soon.

As a reminder, next week is a short week. We also look forward to the CEAL sponsored FIFE/VIFE sporting event, which will take place on Wednesday afternoon and promises to be an enjoyable opportunity for pupils to come together in a spirit of friendly competition.

Finally, I would like to wish all members of our community a relaxing and restful long weekend. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the weeks ahead.

Best wishes,
