Viernes 14 de Agosto

Dear Wessex Community,

I’m delighted that we’ve had a quieter week, and, more importantly, an opportunity for our children to get outside and enjoy a little bit of sunshine. Although we’ve had some inclement weather, we’ve also had pockets of dry weather, which has been great for our pupils during what has otherwise been a very busy week.

We had a successful Training Day on Monday, and I’m grateful to the Bipartido Committee for organising everything.

Senior 6 also had the opportunity to visit Universidad Católica, and it is wonderful to see these university visits taking place, giving our Senior 6 pupils a taste of the different universities they might consider attending in the future.

Wednesday was particularly busy, with lots of activities taking place. Transition E visited the Rectoría, Senior 6 Theatre Group presented The Lion King to our Infant children, and in the afternoon we enjoyed the Junior Music Concert. It was lovely to see our pupils performing, sharing their talents and, most importantly, enjoying themselves.

On Thursday, we celebrated 100 Days of Infant, which is always a delight to see, and we have also had a number of carnivals and our usual assemblies throughout Thursday and Friday. It has certainly been a busy week, but it has been great to see our pupils so engaged in the many activities provided for them.

On Saturday, we have the Rama Football Tournament taking place here at school, and I’m looking forward to watching and supporting our teams.

Finally, a reminder that next Thursday, all pupils should come to school in full school uniform as we mark the first anniversary of the passing of Mr Martin.

As always, please do take a look at the school calendar to see what else is coming up over the next few weeks.

Have a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
